After being removed for several years the Offical contests section of yaXay is back!

For our first contest we have a simple one: to design a new banner and mini banner for yaXay.

So if you feel like making some money or helping yaXay out, or doing both, then be sure to get your submissions in. Because this contest ends the 7th of October. Don't be bummed if you dont win though - there are plenty of more contests planned for yaXay in the future! :)

I'm sure a lot of you have been waiting for this day for a long time. Well finally it has come. As of now the yaxay Gallery is online and functioning once again. The new gallery is a completely integrated and well customized version of the popular Photo Post gallery system. While more up to date than the old gallery, I went and perserved the category structure of the old gallery, mainly because of its simplistic and logical set up.

Bringing back the gallery has been in the talks for a long time and I had stated a long time ago that it was going to be released sooner but I ended up hitting some bumps in my real life and I had to figure some things out code wise for the gallery system, but I kept my promise in getting it finished this millennium.

The "Email a Member" function has been turned off temporarily as we investigate some spam issues.

Greetings members of the yaXay community!

Today I am proud to announce that after a long hiatus, the yaXay Tutorial Zone is now open once again! Im sure a lot of you have been waiting for its return for a long time, and your patience has paied off!

The Tutorial Zone is once again forum integrated and it was rebuilt to look similar to the old Tutorials Zone with a lot more features than the previous version. theDPQ and I have gone through and done extensive testing to make sure there are no bugs in the system, but if you happen to find any fire a PM off to me and I'll get it fixed ASAP :).

Hello members of the yaXay community :).
First off, Id like to take this time to introduce myself to you all. Some of you may have seen me around the community here and there. Recently, Odd Fact has promoted me to an admin in order to help with rebuilding yaXay, community and all. So over the next few days you will all notice some things changing here and there and some places may not work right from time to time. But I have plans to get everything working on yaXay piece by piece.

As some of you have already noticed I have rebuilt the portal back to the way it was way before yaXay was upgraded to vBulletin 3. Doing that is just the beginning. I plan on working on getting the sections (tutorials, podcasts, gallery etc) rebuilt and online in the next few weeks. Along with some other things that I have planned :).

We have upgraded yaXay to the latest version of vBulletin. The upgrade went well. At this time not all skins are ported over correctly. We are working on that. We also have a new portal which is the process as well.
