An XSS flaw within the user control panel has recently been discovered. This could allow an attacker to carry out an action as a user or obtain access to a user's account. To resolve this issue, it is necessary to release a patch level version of vBulletin 3.7.4.
vBulletin 3.6 is not affected. vBulletin 3.8 is affected, and the next beta/release candidate will include the fix.
We're pleased to announce the third public beta of vBulletin 3.8.0. Any customer with an active vBulletin license can download the beta.
This release contains a number of bug fixes, but it also includes an improvement to private messaging. When you view a message, you will see a "Message History" row below the quick reply. You can use this to quickly display previous messages in that "thread". This feature only works with new (after a 3.8 upgrade) messages that are in response to a previous message in the thread.

It's time for another Blog 2.0 beta release, hopefully the final beta release. This release contains bug fixes for issues reported in the previous beta. We recommend anyone using Blog 2.0.0 Beta 3, upgrade to avoid running into known issues. Some of the previous Beta 3 downloads were labeled as Beta 4. If you're version says Beta 4 and you downloaded it the day Beta 3 was released, then you really have Beta 3. You will still need to download and install the "real" Beta 4.
Details of the features and enhancements included since v1.0 can be found in my previous announcement or in my blog.

The confusion is cause by how Daylight Savings is applied. When Daylight Savings goes into affect in the Spring, the clocks are moved ahead one hour. This effectively changes your timezone by one hour as well. GMT will always remain the zero meridian and doesn't change because of political time manipulations like this. In the fall, you move the clock back one hour or effectively gain an hour for timezone purposes. This reversal puts the clocks back on Standard Time.
