vBadvanced is proud to announce the first public release of vBa Links Directory v3.0 Beta 2!
This is Beta software, so if you are not fully comfortable with creating/restoring backups or applying bug fixes, we recommend waiting until the release of v3.0 RC1. While we do not anticipate many problems, the first beta versions have only been tested on a limited number of live websites and there will still be bugs that have not yet been reported.
v3.0 Beta 2 is available in the Members' Area here for current license holders, and is also available for new customers once a license is purchased. Most every file and bit of code throughout the software has been updated and optimized, and a good number of features have been added as outlined below.

This new release addresses the new security token features added in vBulletin 3.6.10 and vBulletin 3.7 RC4, as well as correcting all currently known bugs & issues. Files Changed Since v2.0.1:

vBadvanced Dynamics v1.0.2 has just been released and is now available in the Members' Area here. v1.0.1 is mostly a maintenance release to fix all currently known issues, though there have been a few new features added as outlined below.


New Options & Features

vBadvanced is proud to announce the release of vBa CMPS v3.0.0 ("Gold"). We are confident that the number of remaining bugs is minimal enough to warrant the "gold" release and also feel that the new features have brought things up to speed a bit. Current license holders will find the new version available for download in the Members' Area here.

New Features & Options

Since we first updated our products a few days ago for vBulletin 3.7 compatibility, a few new issues have been pointed out that were not addressed in the first update. These include the following:

vBa CMPS:
Notices not appearing.
Ad Locations not appearing.
Problems with the Yahoo javascript links.

All current versions of vBadvanced products created for vBulletin 3.6 have now been updated to work with vBulletin 3.7 Beta 2 as well. This includes vBa CMPS v3.0 RC2, vBa Dynamics v1.0.0, and vBa Links Directory v2.0.1. So far there have only been 2 small issues that we are aware of with vBadvanced products. The first being that the install file would not recognize vB 3.7 as a valid version number, and the second being the broken links in the new 'Your Notifications' drop-down menu in the navbar. The installation file for each of our products has been updated to recognize vB 3.7 as a valid version number, and a new plugin has been added to handle the 'Your Notifications' drop down links.

For those who have upgraded:
If you are not already running the most recent available version of a vBadvanced product, you will need to upgrade and this will add the changes made for vB 3.7 during the upgrade process.
For those already running the most recent versions, you will simply need to download the most recent version from the Members' Area here again, upload the install file for the software to your forum/admincp folder, go to the file in your browser, and then add '?do=updateplugins' to the end of the URL. This will add the new plugin for the 'Your Notifications' drop-down menu and should be all that is necessary for vB 3.7 compatibility. Example of the URL's you should be going to:

New Features & Options

vBadvanced CMPS v3.0 RC2 has just been released and is now available in the Members' Area here. In addition to correcting any known bugs, there are also a few new features and options, which are as follows:

• When adding a new template page, there is now a place to include the content for the template (similar to when adding a template module).
  
• New setting in the Recent Threads module to allow you to display the "first new post" image linking members to the first unread post in the thread.
  
• New settings in the News module allowing you to enable/disable displaying the number of replies and views.
  
• Integration method updated to include the top portion of the template including all code before the <body> tag (helpful for integrating pages that require custom javascript or other code in their <head> tags).
  
• When uploading a module, it is now possible to select multiple styles to install the templates to.
  
• In addition to the ability to preview BB code modules and pages, you may now preview PHP file and template modules/pages as well.
  
• The "Modules Enabled" section when adding/editing a page will now split into multiple rows if you have more than 3 locations, preventing the custom columns from stretching the page.
  
• When deleting pages, it now checks to see if the page has been used in integration and allows you to remove that page from your integration settings before deletion (prevents a problem where deleting a page used in integration results in a "No page specified" error message in the files the page was integrated with).
  
• New "Diagnostics" link in the Admin CP that will scan for missing module files, incorrect URL settings, and outdated CMPS files on your server.
  
• The majority of the code to process module has been moved into a plugin that is called in the vBulletin print_output() function, preventing modules integrated with vBulletin pages from being unnecessarily processed on page redirects and other times when they are not needed.
  
• If a module is saved with the "Apply Forum Permissions" setting enabled, but the "Initialize Forum Permissions" setting disabled, the "Initialize Forum Permissions" setting will automatically be enabled as forum permissions may not work properly otherwise.
  
• Links added to the navbar template via hooks (or the $template_hook variables) will now have the Navbar Replacements function run on them, allowing you to update these links via the Navbar Replacements setting.
