Hi,
Sorry for the recent downtime it has taken a whole day to try and debug what was going on - the main issue was that no errors were being thrown, so it made it very tricky.
Anyway I have narrowed it down to the plugins which are now all disabled - further investigation required to find out which one and why.

Sorry for the downtime everyone. Something unknown occurred and it caused the database to basically be inaccessible. I've finally figured out the root of the cause and have disabled it for now. You may notice a few things that are missing until I get everything figured out and fixed. We should be back up and running for the most part now though.

Sorry for the problems with the site today. We have been upgrading Apache and Upgrading to php5.
This is now done but in the process we had a couple of issue - now sorted but while mending stuff I have accidentally deleted a chunk of the header template on the latest style!
