The change will be included with the next release.

Some changes have been made to the CinVin site recently:

• There is a new option in the UserCP to not include threads from the 'vBulletin Community' forums when you do a New Posts or Get Daily command. The 'vBulletin Community' forums are an aggregate of RSS feeds from various sites that are dedicated to the vBulletin community. By allowing you to disable them from being included in the New Posts search then users who are only after CinVin related threads will not have to sort through the extra stuff.
• The generic mail box has been disabled due to an incredible amount of spam. Lately I've been spending more time cleaning up my inbox then anything else. Only mail that is addressed to a specific & supported email address will be received.
• The Zoints profile system has been uninstalled at this time.
• Various side projects have been, at least for now, shelved so that the main site here can be be worked on. Any coding projects that I've personally released at other sites, such as vBulletin Users, will be migrated to here for primary support & development.

To provide better customer service to our vBulletin style customers we have recently transferred rights to most of the CinVin vBulletin styles to another company. This will allow the various styles to be updated as needed and for more rapid response to customer service inquiries. The company acquiring the rights to the styles is an established market leader in the vBulletin styles community.

More details will be announced in the next few days as the details of the transfer are worked out. If you are a currently CinVin vBulletin style license holder please post your questions you may have in the Styles Support forum.

This nifty little utility will present a list of all of your forums RSS feeds on one page! Your users can then easily pick & choose which forums they want to subscribe to via RSS, Google, Yahoo, or Bloglines.

Ever go to a big site like CNN and view their page of RSS feeds that you can subscribe to? This is the same thing but for your vBulletin forums!

I've seen a lot of requests lately for an Ambert Alert module for vBadvanced CMPS that could fit into a side column so I created one using a feed from Project Safe Kids.

The module is designed to work in any of your columns, including your left or right columns, and will display current ambert alerts in a scrolling right-to-left ticker window. The feeds are provided by Project Safe Kids and clicking on an alert will take you to the full details at the Project Safe Kids web site. Below is a screen shot.
