Web Systems Programmer - Crawlability Inc.
We are looking for a programmer with a minimum 3-5 years experience in Web Systems Programming, with preference for those with backgrounds in:
The primary focus will be on developing, testing, and deploying updates or adding new systems to Crawlability's private "Biz Admin Systems".
These systems relate to all of our operational activities including order fulfillment, data processing, marketing communications, and our Global Partners content translation systems, etc.
Every system developed will be a part of a multi-system architecture, in which all systems are tied together to fulfill our data collection, processing and related business objectives.
The successful candidate will report directly to our Senior Software Developer, in addition to Project Managers on a per project basis.

Compensation will be provided on an hourly basis, with minimum weekly time commitments required.

- PHP (OOD)
- mySQL (query optimization)
- JavaScript/Ajax (advanced user interface design)
- HTML. CSS & XHTML (tableless designs, validated HTML standards)
- vBulletin (plugin development)

The candidate must be willing to:
- Follow the programming guidelines set forth by the Senior Software Developer
- Learn, and be proactive about tracking down information needed to solve "all" problems experienced
- Write extremely organized, and well commented code, and be prepared to communicate with the documentation team to facilitate user documentation, etc.
- Commit to Quality Assurance, never submitting code that has not been thoroughly examined for bugs or other issues
- Communicate with the team in a professional manner, providing as much detail as possible in all information exchanges
- Be dedicated, diligent, and FAST. The candidate will need to be able to stay on top of multiple concurrent projects.
- Follow our design philosophies which include the "KIS" (Keep it Simple) philosophy to avoid overkill in design, iterative programming cycles, and adherence of 100% commitment to "designing for usability" for an average user (not for other developers)
- Be challenged, and to think "way" outside the box on several occasions.
- Let the love of programming bring out coding masterpieces!
- Not play the WII, during working hours. ;)
